Please construct a one-page to two page research outline (see the sample outline) on one subject of your choice. Say you want to do a research on “gun violence since 2017 in the United States” and you want to find out if there were any connections between gun violence (in 2017, 2018 and the first half of 2019) and Donald Trump in the White House. How are you going to conduct this research? What theories or theoretical approaches are you going to use to guide your research? What data are you going to collect? How are you going to interpret the data? How to connect what you have observed or collected as data with Donald Trump in the White House? Are these connections credible and sound? How do we know if these connections or associations are credible or sound? One way to look into is the number of gun violence cases since 2016 compared with the number under President Obama, Bush and Clinton? Who are the gunmen? Who are the victims? What did the gunmen try to accomplish?

What rhetoric of Donald Trump discourages or encourages violence against a particular group or groups? What’s your conclusion? . Topics for your research outline can include but not limited to the following: 1. Trump is or is not responsible for the increasing number of gun violence. 2. It is time to abolish the 2nd Amendment. 3. The 2nd Amendment is still relevant to today’s America. 4. Kim Jong-un is no friend of Donald Trump 5. American media is not “enemy of the people.” 6. American media is indeed an “enemy” of the White House. 7. The power of social media 8. China is to blame for the “trade war” 9. North Korea is a/no threat to the U.S. 10. The U.S. should/should not go to Taiwan’s rescue if Communist China should reunify the two sides by force. Research outline sample will be posted below to show you how the paper should be setup
