Instruction
Create an original differentiation instruction chart for your classroom.
Consider the various needs of the students in your respective classrooms. Using the course materials/readings, demonstrate how you can apply the following strategies to your classroom to address the various learning needs within it. (You will probably not have specifics on student interests or styles. But you can generically incorporate activities that students can relate to and address a variety of learning styles. Plan for students who are more visual, auditory, tactile, or kinesthetic learners and those who benefit from multimodal approaches.)
For the chart:
Column1 - indicate differentiation strategy/approach (10 minimum)
Column 2 - include the subject you will use the specific differentiated strategy in and list the concept or skill within that subject/content area
Column 3 - describe how you will use the strategy
Column 4 - explain which type/s of learners the DI strategy will benefit
Column 5 - explain how you will group students for each strategy (e.g. whole/large group, small group, or one-on-one)
You may use up to five strategies from the list below....other strategies must be identified on your own.
