  • The online poster conference is meant to be an learning opportunity for you to communicate your research interests and discuss each other's work. The "Health Ecology Conference" is designed to mimic an online version of a real poster conference experience. See this guide video I created to better explain this assignment. The easiest way to create a poster is in PowerPoint, save the file as a .png, and then follow these instructions to embed as an image in your discussion post. On the poster, all sections of the paper should be included but you need to choose the most important information and summarize it (otherwise it won't all fit). A sample poster template is provided. You can change the colors and make each section long enough to fit your needs. Make sure it can fit all on one page AND can be easily read! Check out these student samples: poster 1 and poster 2. See the project guidelines for full description of assignment.
