We are working on Historiography papers. My topic is: "Genghis Khan, Timur, and many more were leaders who are viewed as extremely powerful but negative in popular culture. Alexander the Great, a similarly motivated conqueror, is often regarded as an ingenious accomplished military leader. I want to further focus on how historians uncovered and interpreted works and actions done by these leaders. Is this a result of Eurocentric bias from writers? How did scholars approach the topic regarding conquerors? What is different and similar between how historians covered these men? Do their sources stem from the leader himself? Or from people close to them, or just regular civilians? How heavy were their impacts over the areas they ruled?"
