Statistics, binomial tests, research methods. Answer the following questions using only bivariate analysis (tests). You must work out one (and only one) example of each of three (3) types of tests by hand as you answer the questions (i.e. one hand calculation per type). The questions target different types of bivariate analysis examined in class [correlation, Pearson’s chi-square, difference of means, Kendall’s tau-b/c, Goodman and Kruskal’s gamma, confidence intervals], however there are multiple different ways you could approach, and answer, some of the questions. You must use three (3) different types of bivariate analysis, at a minimum, across the five questions.

Question 5 requires a statistical test, as well as outside information (which party won the 2015 election and their share of the popular vote.
