Instruction
1. Author’s purpose or hypothesis – quote it exactly.
2. Description of the method (or research design) and sample: in your words, tell who was in the sample and describe the method and how the data was collected.
3. Results – in your words, describe the study results.
4. Conclusions of the author – in your words, tell what the author concluded.
5. ASA Citation – The library session makes this step easier.
6. Your reaction –What was your personal reaction to the author’s research – were there any specifics (e,g, method or conclusion) that you had questions about?
7. Describe how this article did or did not change your initial view about your topic.
8. Point out how culture OR power affects your topic.
