Select the one you believe to be most critical to the field and explain your rationale for choosing it. Be sure to use evidence to back up your thought process. Your paper must be carefully edited and formatted according to APA (6th ed.). Its length should be about two pages, not including the reference and cover pages. For instructions about how to format your paper, refer to the APA Formatting Guidelines in the Getting Started Module. Part B: Watch the video below entitled Understanding learning disabilities. As you view it, you will see that you are asked to view it twice in order to complete the assignment. How much did you improve the second time that you did that exercise? Did you notice any change in your feelings? Please pay attention to one of the sentences presented at the end of the video and complete it with the missing word: People who struggle with learning disabilities have the ability to learn if provided with the proper supports and "_____________" (this last word is a key word to transition to Module 2). Instructions: View the video discussed above. After viewing it, answer the questions listed. Be sure to be full and complete in your answers. Total length of your response should be one to two pages. Part C:Your readings for this module focus on metacognition as well as language of students with learning disabilities. To deepen your understanding and to examine this information in a new perspective, the following discussion questions are provided. Instructions: Provide a written response, a minimum of one to two paragraphs for each answer, to each of the discussion questions listed below: 1. Name some effective strategies to consider when presenting a new language concept or skill. 2. What are some important considerations to keep in mind when providing instruction for students who speak English as a second language?
