Presentation and Program Notes: You will schedule your presentation day by signing up on a sign-up sheet on the first day of class. You will present your selections of 2 songs/music (vocal and/or instrumental) - one traditional music in the world (not classical) and your favorite song/music in any genre. Explain all the details about the music. 12-15 minutes are given including playing time. You can use CD recordings, YouTube, or give a performance. Submit your program notes (at least 2 paragraphs per song, 12 font size) on your presentation day. Good quality program notes give your audience information about any combination of the following: - music title and date of composition - the composer's name and a brief biography - the work itself (musical elements) - the context of the work in both history and music history - how the piece will sound - how the performer interprets the work
