Instruction
projects are much like a research paper, an extended essay, in which you explain your conclusions from one of the assigned topics (listed below);
your conclusions will be presented in analytical structure with a thesis supported by at least three main points;
the research will be an effort to use relevant and significant sources to provide evidence of the validity of your conclusions and judgments;
information drawn from specific sources (quoted or paraphrased) must be cited within the paper, and listed at the end of the paper as “Works Cited.” If not cited, you risk plagiarism;
preparation for each of the three projects should begin early within the combined units (One and Two, Three and Four, Five and Six);
the purpose of all options will be to apply concepts included within the combined units;
suggested length with Works Cited: 600-750 words;
each of the three projects will have a maximum point total of 100 (a major grade) based on rubrics available for you to study in advance of the deadline.
