Points Distribution Introduction 5pts Students must introduce their topic and what will be covered in the literature review paper. Literature Review and Writing 30pts The literature review section must have at least 3 journal/scholarly articles. Popular press, media, textbook, and internet references will be acceptable for this assignment on a limited level (as long as you include 3 scholarly articles). This section should thoroughly discuss the literature as it relates to your specific topic. Conclusion and Reflection 10pts The conclusion should summarize the paper. This section can include a short reflection from the student about the topic. APA Style and Writing 5pts Total Points 50pts Important points to remember when you are writing your paper. Start by reading and taking notes on 3-4 journal articles Give yourself time to find your sources and to write. Do not use quotations throughout your paper. You will need to paraphrase. Avoid first person when writing in the literature review section. Feel free to use 'I' in the conclusion/reflection section. Papers will be graded for spelling and grammar.
