Provide a detailed analysis of the ethical issue of Hunting, Immigration, or Death penalty. In order to analyze the ethical issue, use an appropriate theory (Natural law, AU, Virtue ethics etc.). Make sure to show both sides of the argument (for, against) and finally state your own position on the issue giving reasons as to why you hold this particular view. PICK ONLY ONE TOPIC FOR PAPER OUT OF 1. HUNTING 2. IMMIGRATION 3. DEATH PENALTY --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For the PAPER OUTLINE In brief mention... 1. Topic (if you are analyzing a related topic, provide a justification as to how to see it related to the topic/s suggested i.e. Abortion, hunting, physician-assisted suicide) 2. The theory/s used in analyzing the topic (only 2 theories to be used) 3. In brief the arguments. 2 -for and 2-against (based on specific theory/s) (P.S. The theory and argument must work together...for.ex. From the perspective of "Natural Law" abortion is not justified because........) 4. References (a minimum of 3)-Primary/Secondary sources, or websites that end in .edu, .gov, .org are okay. No .com or Wikipedia 5. Your positionality (objective, subjective...etc) ------------------------------------------------------ INSTRUCTIONS FOR PAPER The final paper must have the following distinct sections 1. Introduction and Justification of Topic 2. Theory 1->Pro Arguments 1 and 2 Theory 2->Against Arguments 1 and 2 (please note: DO NOT use more than 2 theories in total for your arguments) 3. Your Positionality (Hint: Use one of the terms-emotive, objective, subjective) 4. Conclusion Other details 1. 4-6 pages of text, Times Roman, Font 12, Double Spaced 2. Additional 2 pages (cover page and work cited page) 3. Minimum of 3 refs on work cited pg (primary or secondary sources, peer reviewed articles, .org, .gov, .edu, are acceptable)
