Prepare a 3-5 pages proposal summarizing a global technology that supports the flattening of the world. Some examples include, but not limited to, telecommunication systems such as satellite technology, panoramic or live pictures/mapping, smart phones devices with multitouch, Google Earth, Google Wave navigation, digital readers (i.e. kindle, iPad), 3G mobile phone, etc. Your proposal should be professionally presented and will also be judged based on the selection of the topic itself. The more innovative and current the global technology you select, the better it is. Proposal The content text of your proposal should address the following questions: 1. Briefly describe your global technology. You must include images to support your description, though, remember to provide references at the end of your report to all images used! 2. What is the goal of your proposed global technology (central idea, anticipated reaction of the users/customers, and organizations)? 3. Why should your organization/workplace invest into this technology? 4. Who or what type of businesses should use this global technology (consider age, economic level, educational background, special needs of your users, culture, and language, rank in the organization)? Simplistic answers such as “everyone should use it because it’s cool” are not valid and will not be counted. 5. How will this global technology support other technologies used in the organization (provide examples to support your answer)? 6. Compared your proposed global technology with different types of technologies? Name two (2) types of other global technology. Provide references at the end of your report. 7.
