5. Your company will have to provide orientation and training. What is your orientation program? Develop a check list to be used during the orientation process. What type of training does your company provide? Refer to Chapter 8.
6. Determine what type / types of performance appraisals you will have for your company. Develop performance appraisal procedures. Which staff members appraise? Who is included in the process of appraising an employee? When and how often are appraisals done? Is there a raise that goes along with appraisals? How is your appraisal system evaluated? How are appraisal interviews conducted? Refer to Chapter 10.
