Attached are the puzzle. Answers the question that are in `the more general term`.

I will give you an example puzzle and an example hypethesis.
Example question: Why does Russia continue to prevent UN action against the government of Syria?
This raises the more general question why a major power would take an intransigent position when this may hurt their image and their political and economic interests?

Example answer: If a leader has a realist operational code then they will ignore the will of the global community and secure NI by supporting intransigent policy behavior.

Please come up with 5 hypothesis for each puzzle.
