Instruction
the Annotated Bibliography.
The assignment can be downloaded for review and submitted as an Word or PDF attachment in the Wk 4 Mod 4 module. Please review the assignment requirements AND grading rubric carefully before you submit your work.
First, review the Owl Purdue example Annotated Bibliography in the Wk 4 Mod 4 module. The bibliographic entry (page 2) in the OWL example is in the correct APA format.
For the Annotated Bibliography, your bibliographic entries must be written correctly in APA style (see page 425, Appendix A in your text). The entries must include the author’s name, date of publication, title, publisher, URL (if online source), and date of viewing (if online source) in the APA format.
NOTE: If you download some bibliographic entries from library databases, such as Academic Premiere Plus, the text may be in all CAPS. This is NOT the correct APA format.
As in the OWL Purdue example:
The bibliographic annotations must be the appropriate length (150-200 word count range).
The first paragraph is a summary of the article or book.
The second paragraph is a critical evaluation of the author’s qualifications, appropriateness of date of research, credibility of publisher or website, and an evaluation of whether the information is fact rather than opinion or propaganda.
