Description: This paper is designed to foster the development of your personal nursing journey which includes a life-long process of self-reflection, identification of professional and personal values and beliefs, application of standards, ethics, leadership, and policies into your role as a nurse. Nursing requires awareness, appreciation, and advocacy for cultural diversity, a commitment to holistic care for the marginalized, and recognition of the commonalities, core values and beliefs which exist in all people and a commitment to care for oneself. These beliefs act to provide a foundation of practice for culturally safe, trauma informed nursing care with a focus on health promotion and disease prevention. The paper will consist of 3-5 pages, and thoughtfully answer the questions below following APA format. Appropriate use of 1st person is acceptable in this paper, while following APA guidelines. Please cite at least 1 reference from class readings/viewings and lectures. Additionally, your paper needs to include a title page, introduction, body and summary.
