Feedback Comment: Not too pleased this time around. There were a lot of grammatical errors all throughout the paper and there were sentences that didn't make sense.

Project Summary: Turn in your final here. 3000 words (~10 double-spaced pages) on one of the following two topics: 1. Should college athletes be paid? 2. Is LA's 2024 Olympic bid a good or bad idea? For each of these, I want the following: A clear answer, given early in the paper. An explanation of either the legal or policy context and changes. That is, if you think college athletes should be paid, explain how that ought to come about. Or, if you think LA's Olympic bid is good, explain the policies that makes it so. A discussion of both your own position and alternative positions. Describe possible counterarguments, and discuss their limits or failings. An argument, strongly rooted in textual evidence. There's no minimum number of sources and citations, but use 10 and 30 as a rule of thumb. A persuasive argument. I don't care about most formatting, for either the paper as a whole or your citations. For outside sources, confine yourselves to cases, laws, and scholarly articles (peer-reviewed, law school reviews, or the such). Journalistic sources can be used for information, but not analysis. You are welcome to pick a different topic, but check with me first.
