Project Summary: Health Information Management Research Paper: The student will select a topic from the material and upon approval by the instructor will research and write a 5 page paper (not including the title page) summarizing current literature pertaining to the topic. Written summaries should be 5 pages of text in length, excluding the title and reference pages (typed, double-spaced) utilizing APA guidelines. Approved sources will be peer-reviewed journal articles, reputable news organizations (print or online), your current text or other text books. Sources should be no older than 5 to 6 years. Wikipedia is not considered a valid source of research. The student should consult the instructor prior to submission of the project if there are questions of the validity of the source.
