Project Summary: Each student will develop an impact statement that formulates an emerging understanding of early learning and care, from a historical context. The learner will develop a document that reflects their growing knowledge of how to analyze the changing perspective of children as well as societal issues and trends in history that have shaped current policy and practice in early learning. To develop a foundational understanding of the impact history has on current practice and policy as we well as the individual learner's viewpoints and professional philosophy.
