Project Summary: Find a current article "in the news" relating to an interesting disease or disorder. Students can use paper or online resources. A list of suggested journals include Science News, Scientific American or Science. This list is just to get you started - feel free to find other credible sources if you choose. (Note: Please do not use Wikipedia.) As a new discussion thread, post a summary that contains the following: 1. Title of the article and/or website where the article was found OR the Title, date, and volume of the journal in which the article was found. 2. Compose a paragraph explaining (in your own words) the content of the article (minimum 3 sentences). 3. Define any medical terms that appeared in the article. Please pick an article that has terms to define. 4. If you found an article on the internet, please discuss how you know the website is reliable (i.e. Can you trust the information you've found?)
