Project Summary: In the “General Prologue,” Chaucer shows us some characters that make religious folk look pretty bad. Contrast the Monk or the Prioress with the Parson. What could today’s Christian leaders learn from the good example of the parson and the bad examples of the Monk and Prioress? Note: Read the descriptions of the Monk and the Prioress carefully.
