Identify the problem clearly and concisely and refer to any pertinent information found in Step 1. What facts are essential for understanding and dealing with the issues? Step 3. Analyze the case using multiple approaches (democratic, ethical, autocratic, etc.) Are there any theories that might be relevant to the decision issues? What alternatives are available to the principal decision makers? What are the advantages and disadvantages associated with each alternative? Step 4. Identify an overall resolution to the case study. Justify and predict the outcome. What course of action (long term—short term) will be taken?
