Project Summary: have finished recording everything given to me as of today. I am very proud of how hard most of you have worked this semester. I know English 300 is a challenge. When you come to the final on Monday, bring your essay as well as the story on which you have made LOTS of annotations. Be sure to use examples, facts, quotes from the story to support your thesis statement. The question is "How do the two settings in "Chee's Daughter" reflect each man's true character, and how do they work together in the resolution of the conflict? How do the authors use literary devices such as imagery, metaphor, and symbolism to strengthen the message? What is the message? If you were in class the last few times,you should know how to structure your essay to support the divided thesis. The evidence is all in the pages of the story. You do not need to go anywhere else to figure it out. The essay will be at least four pages with fully developed paragraphs. If you do not type it ahead of time, you must sit down and write it in two hours. Of course, if you start it at home, you may finish it within the two hours.
