Project Summary: Discuss Maslows and Herzbergs theories of motivation. How are they similar and how are they different? Based on your experiences and understanding, which theory do you believe best describes what motivates you? In addition, discuss McGregors theory of x and theory of y. What is each theory and how are they similar and how are they different? Discuss any personal experience you may have experienced with each type of manager. Which theory do you fit in and why? With which management type would you rather work? Many of the motivational theories are linkable to leadership styles and additional theories- be certain to make the connections and explain the rationale behind the links.
