Please pick up a topic (the topic is Presidential Reconstruction) to research and write about on the Civil War OR Reconstruction Era. This assignment is to be NO LESS than THREE (3) typed pages with standard formatting. Please remember to use spellcheck, proper grammar, and punctuation. Make sure to include a cover page as will a bibliography. These will play heavily into grade. When I ask for a topic, I mean a Single topic for on of the periods. The Civil War was April 1861 to April 1865, and the Reconstruction Era went from immediately after the war to 1877. You will discover that there are so many "single topics", that you may have difficulty concentrating on ONE topic! But focus only on your chosen topic(Presidential Reconstruction).
