Project Summary: Use the attached file to write a close reading. For your close reading assignment, select a passage/scene/line from the text. Use the following questions as guidelines for your observations: How is the passage structured? Where in the text does it appear? What idea(s) does it introduce or cover? What rhetorical features do you notice (e.g. sentence fragments, long or short sentences, interesting punctuation, etc.)? Does it refer to things outside of the framework of the text (e.g. historical, cultural, and/or literary references)? Does the passage project forward (i.e. foreshadowing) or backward into the text? Is the tone consistent with what comes before and what comes after? Do you notice any similarities, contradictions, and/or repetitions? Your notes in response to these questions constitute the facts of the passagethe features that you observe. After youve gathered these facts, you will readi.e. interpretthem, using what you already know about the text and your reasoning skills. Ask why questions and try to answer them. For example, you may wonder why a certain word appears multiple times in one paragraphwhat importance does that kind of repetition lend to the word? When interpreting the specific features of the passage, you may also draw on your own body of knowledge, but make sure not to deviate from the text in front of you. It must be 1-2 pages please analyze don't summarize! we have 5 hours left before the deadline. please help me. Thanks
