*PLEASE CHOOSE ONE ART WORK FORM THE EXHIBITION INFO FOLDER, AND RELATE TO AN ARTWORK FROM THE POWERPOINT. (I will send you links of these TWO files) This response MUST refer to at least one of the movements or artists we have covered in class. This can highlight comparison or contrast (or both!). Since this is only 300 words, you should pick ONE point to make in your response. Here are some ways you could get started on your response: - Walk through the entire exhibition once before going back through to select an artwork. - Choose an artwork that uses some of the formal strategies we have seen in class so far: how is the work similar or different to the other artists we have addressed in class? - Look at one formal element of the work: the artist's approach to composition or color - Look at one thematic element of the work: the artist's portrayal of women, race, history, modernity, urban space or rural space.
