The stream in which I am following in for this assignment is: Stream 1: Arthur Machen Arthur Machen is considered by some to be one of the finest writers of gothic, ghost, or horror stories of the late Victorian period. He was very influential on modern and contemporary writers like H. P. Lovecraft, Phil Rickman, and Stephen King. As a class we will be discussing his short story “The Great God Pan.” Your tasks will be to analyze a scholarly essay on Machen’s work for the rhetorical analysis essay, then you will use research to focus your ideas on the story, which will lead to the proposal and annotated bibliography, which in turn will lead to the academic essay you will write on “The Great God Pan.” -so please make sure to complete the assignment according to the appropriate topic and no plagiarizing.
