Have a conversation about race, ethnicity, affirmative action, integration with someone who was living during the time of the Civil Rights Movement. This could be a grandparent, neighbor, or acquaintance. Write a 4 page paper that reflects on the conversation and uses the tools of your sociological imagination. We will use this as the framework for chapter 11 (I will give you a link to the slides). Be sure to schedule an interview early enough so that you don't run into trouble if it needs to be rescheduled. Just to let you know, I'm not american, so I don't have any american family. Please say that the person you had conversation with is my high school English teacher.
