Letter of Agreement Assignment As you have learned, many designers prefer to use a less formal contract called a Letter of Agreement. This can be a legally enforced contract if it contains the correct information. Based on the information in Chapter 7 and the resources provided, you are to create a Letter of Agreement for a Residential Project based on the following scenario: Victor and Maria Chang would like to hire you to handle the remodeling of their kitchen and adjacent family room. They have already selected a contractor to manage the construction phase of the project. The house is located at 1274 Mossy Oak Lane, Bellaire, TX 77555. Using your text as a guide, craft of letter of agreement on your own letterhead. For the purpose of this exercise you are a sole proprietor of your own firm. Below are important reference pages from your book for this assignment: - Table 7-1, pg. 120 - Table 7-4, pg. 139 - Pages 136-144 While you may reference other documents or contracts, this should be written by you. Sources that provide specific clauses must be cited. You can not have a whole contract that has been copied and pasted from other sites. Along with the Letter of Agreement, you will also provide a 2 paragraph reflection on the importance of design contracts in the design field. You will submit this assignment as a Word Document to Canva
