As a manager you most likely will have some responsibility for the customer experience. This assignment provides you the opportunity to review best practices for customer experience/satisfaction, develop a cheat sheet/quick reference guide for your staff based on an industry you are familiar with, and determine the effectiveness of your cheat sheet based when applied to real case studies.

Submit a quick reference cheat sheet for customer experience reps for responding to customer complaints and customer experience. Conduct additional research.
Cheat sheet should be
Skimable-reader can quickly find information looking for by using typography.
Concise-no paragraphs, summary of key tactics for working with customers.
SMART- reader should know specifics on how to handle situations. Providing a guideline of being polite is not SMART. Be polite by empathizing with the customer's concern and acknowledge that you are there to help them is a better guideline for the cheat sheet.
Specific- include examples of five complaints and customer service dialogue responses/scripts that utilize your key tactics.
Valued added- a document that can actually be used as a resource for a customer service rep in handling daily complaints.
Reliable-includes three resources different from the ones provided in the course materials via active URL or sited properly.
If you complete your cheat sheet on a business you are familiar with that is not food service, I assume you will have guidelines on how to handle something that was late, poor quality, not priced right etc. similar but not exact to food service. Next week when you complete a reflection on the effectiveness of your cheat sheet, you can identify what could have been applicable and those items that were unique to your business.
