tell me something about what Yeager and Dweck learned about resilience and implicit theories. For example, does it matter what a person believes about how they learn? In other words, does our BELIEF about how we learn affect how we learn? If we believe we can learn more, can we? Why? Do you agree with Yeager and Dweck? If they are right, does it matter what teachers and others in authority say to students? ALSO, say something about Jury et al. They argue that a college degree is vital for success but that it is difficult for students of low-SES background to obtain a degree. Why? What barriers do low-SES students have? FINALLY, make a connection between Jury et al and Yeager and Dweck: Could a growth mindset (AKA incremental theory) help them? How so? Focus on this last question.
