Part 1: Module 4: Assignment 1 -- Assistive Technology Chart
As a special education professional parents and school staff will look to you as a resource for how to help students. It is imperative that you aware of the assistive technology options that are available to students. By maintaining an update database you have this information at your fingertips.
Instructions:
Develop a list of assistive technology devices/resources. There should be at least 10 resources for each category and notation as to what the device/resource is used for.
Please separate the list into three categories, low tech, mid tech, and high tech (10 each total of 30).
You may use any format you desire (chart, infographic, powerpoint, etc) as long as all of the components of the assignment are included.

Part 2:Module 4: Assignment 2 --Video Reflection
Write a brief summary of each of the two videos highlighting how you would use this strategy or tool in your classroom.

Finally, in two paragraphs respond to the question: Some would argue that all student would benefit from visual supports. Do you agree with this rationale? Why or Why not? If so, why do you think we, as special education teachers receive so much pushback from general education teachers and what can we do about it? Provide an explanation for your answer.
Your reflections/reactions to the videos assigned should be edited for minor grammatical errors and adhere to the general writing style and formatting guidelines of the APA Manual (6th ed.).
Part 3: Module 4: Discussion 1 -- High Tech AAC for Students with ASD and CCN
Chapter 6 of the Ganz text reviews the universal design feature in computers and how this lends itself stunningly to accessibility for SWD. In this chapters we identify high-tech AAC through the three linguistic stages, and how high-tech supports promote language development and communication.

Explain one way high-tech AAC supports communicators and give an example of how it is used.
