Based on the information provided below, compute the Net Present Value of the project (CO 3). A Net Present Value Template is Attached. (Hint: Don't forget to update the discount rate to the amount required for this project and add your cash flow numbers.) Royal Dutch Shipping is planning on Investing $1,600,000 to buy a freighter. Prepare a net present value analysis based on the assumption that the freighter will be sold for 10% of it's cost at the end of the year 5. Annual operating cash flows for the project are: Year 1: $380,000 Year 2: $390,000 Year 3: $400,000 Year 4: $410,000 Year 5: $420,000 Prepare a loan amortization schedule based on monthly payments for the $1,600,000 if Royal Dutch Shipping can pay 10% down on a loan for $1,100,000 and can get a loan for 6% interest for 10 years (do not include this in your Net Present Value computations. This is a separate issue. (CO 3). (Hint: www.bankrate.com/calculators/mortgages/amortization-calculator.aspx )

    User_3726 | Jun 18, 2014, 20:13 PM
  • and again assignments with short deadlines have higher price tags>>>hope you are willing to increase your offer to cater for the short deadline
    User_3726 | Jun 18, 2014, 20:15 PM
  • my original offer was $10. I'm already paying more than double at $25. I'll give you some more time but I cannot pay anymore than $25.

  • I really hope you don't fail to release payment since i worked hard and fast to beat your short deadline>>>kindly don't shortchange me because this is what i do for a living but some users are not fully honest>>please
    User_3726 | Jun 18, 2014, 21:55 PM
  • its in the amortization schedule>>>the discount value is got by the difference btwn 10% na 100% divide by 5.years
    User_3726 | Jun 18, 2014, 22:00 PM
  • I'm not going to short change you. I just wanted to know how you arrived at the answer. I sent you a message asking that you show your work. I'm just asking how you get discount value.
    User_5054 | Jun 18, 2014, 22:01 PM
  • the discount value is got by the difference between 10% and 100% divide by 5.years
    User_3726 | Jun 18, 2014, 22:02 PM
  • also from the information provided there is an NPV at 10% of original price at the end of the 5 years..so the asset lost 90% in 5 years
    User_3726 | Jun 18, 2014, 22:04 PM
  • Awesome, great work! I'm releasing payment.
    User_5054 | Jun 18, 2014, 22:05 PM
