ETHICAL REASONING and REFLECTION (R&R) EXERCISE INSTRUCTIONS For this week’s Reasoning and Reflection post, please read the article linked below from CBS News, AND watch the short video from CNN. The article and video address the recent public water crisis in Flint, Michigan. After reviewing these sources, as well as this week’s materials, please respond to the two discussion prompts below. Your answer should connect the material covered in this week’s reading to the case study and the Flint, MI story, while also reflecting on your own sense of public service ethics and how they apply to this circumstance. How do these apply to the Flint situation? (Please be specific about the principles, ethics, and responsibilities that were or were not appropriately followed by the actors involved in the case and in the Flint crisis).
