On the basis of the information researched by the student, students play the role of venture capitalists and will present an argument ending with a decision of whether or not to invest in the startup. Decisions are based on an analysis of the business model, the strength of value proposition, the competitiveness of the industry, the size and accessibility of the market, and the qualifications of the management team. The analysis takes the form of a short written report. -Effective written communication is an extremely important element of entrepreneurship. All other things being equal, better writers will gain better opportunities, more success, and share more value. Better communicators are able to raise more funds for their businesses.
