Instruction
Choose one peer-reviewed journal article from the list below on this page that interests you for this assignment.
Please answer the following questions. You will submit your responses in canvas.
State the argument of the article. This is usually found in the abstract and at the end of the first paragraph.
What kind of evidence does the author[s] use to support her/his/their argument and/or research questions?
Using your own words, summarize the main findings of this article.
If you were to conduct a similar study, what else would you want to know that this article did not address?
Look at the reference page of your article. Choose an article on a similar topic. Go the USF library (You must login to get the full article.) and locate a second article on a similar topic as the article that you assessed.
Read the main points of the second article. Use a similar approach like you did with the first article, but you do not need to turn this in to me.
If you were to conduct a study on a similar topic as the two articles that you chose for this assignment, what new research question (s) or ideas would you want to pursue? Your research must add a significant idea in order to contribute to the literature? In other words, what will your research address that the two articles that you read did not address?
Submit Assignment 3 in Canvas. This assignment is due at 11:59 on October 4th. Each question is worth 5 points for a total of 35 points.
