Instruction
Exams should be no longer than 10 pages double spaced and 1-inch margins. A bibliography is not required but, where possible, note the name of the text you’re drawing from (either the full name or an abbreviation you make clear). Please also write the page number if you quote something. For example, Weber says “x” (p. 23) or “Weber says ‘x’ on page 23.” PLEASE ONLY USE THE 3 READINGS ATTACHED as resources to cite sources. Only draw on things from the assigned texts. I will deduct points if you use ideas from a Marx or Weber text/concept that was not assigned.
Your exam will be analyzed for plagiarism. Plagiarism will be taken extremely seriously. Anyone who plagiarize will be subject to university sanctions and automatically fail their exam. Do not quote from any other source other than assigned texts. Note also that taking any idea that is not your own is considered plagiarism (i.e. paraphrasing a Wikipedia article is still plagiarism). Finally, these exams should be clear, well-written, and with no or minimal grammatical errors. Proofread your exam carefully before you submit it. Points will be deducted for exams with such mistakes.
