This assignment is a web search for evidence of healthcare reform in one of our 50 states. You have become familiar with most of the key issues challenging our healthcare system today; many questions remain about what, exactly, we can do to correct or reform our system. What you need to do is seek out the solutions that healthcare leaders are preparing or currently testing out to: Decrease costs Increase quality Improve access Evidence of any one of these will give you a passing grade, but the goal is to find evidence of all three, summarize your findings, and post them to the Discussion Board.

Go to your favorite search engine and find the department of health (DOH) for the state you have chosen. Search the home page of that DOH for signs of healthcare reform that touch on cost, quality, and access. (This can be as simple as putting “reform” into the DOH search window.) It could be: A “white paper” in pdf form on healthcare reform A presentation (PowerPoint or other) on issues related to reform A webpage on reforming healthcare Articles about legislative activity Plans or partnerships to increase access to (or insurance for) primary care Interviews with state leaders Testimonials from state citizens Many other representations of state-based healthcare reform Summarize the elements that your three chosen sources had in common and identify any clear differences among them. You have a choice this time; either through a concept map or a 2-3 page overview of the similarities and differences you found, explain in detail what you found in your three chosen sources. You must provide the weblinks for the three sources you chose to compare. Step 4: Post the concept map with a 200 word description or your 2-3 page summary of how you compared the healthcare reform issues that you identified
