Instruction
First, search popular press (newspapers, news, magazine, etc.) websites for information about an organization. This organization might be one that you think is doing a good/poor job in keeping employees satisfied and/or committed. (Or, even an organization which you would consider for future employment.) Aim for at least two sources. In the "Subject" section, write the name of the organization you selected. In the "Message" section of your post, include the information you found about the organization (such as links to articles or attachments) and answer each the following questions: What made you select this organization? Do you think that job attitudes such as job satisfaction and organizational behavior influence work behavior in this organization? How does this organization affect its employees’ attitudes? If the organization is doing a poor job of keeping its employees satisfied/committed, what costs may it face if it fails to consider worker attitudes? Did you find information about the organization that demonstrates it promotes job satisfaction or encourages commitment? Select at least one other student's post to review and reply. Consider the following questions: Overall, do you think that attitudes are important to this organization? How might this compare to other organizations generally? How would you build job satisfaction in employees working in this organization? How would you improve organizational commitment?
