During Odysseus’ voyage home he is delayed by Poseidon because of blinding the god’s son Cyclops. However, his delay at the island of the Cyclops teaches Odysseus something about himself and he develops a character trait that later helps him in his overtaking the suitors in Ithaca. This is also true at the other delays. Choose one of the following delays that Odysseus experiences and (1) describe the delay, (2) what did Odysseus do to escape the delay, (3) what did Odyssues learn and what character trait(s) did he develop that would later help him in ridding his Ithacian palace.

The paper should be at least three paragraphs:
(1) the Introduction, in which you indicate the adventure and tell about it; also include a thesis statement indicating what he learned;
(2) the Body, in which you describe the main aspects of the adventure which develop the character trait and how Odysseus escaped the delay;
(3) the Conclusion, in which you discuss how this character trait is used at the end of the story to show Odysseus ridding the palace of the suitors.
Using specific quotes from the story can enhance your essay. If you use any other sources, be sure to give proper credit for those sources.
