I relied on a variety of internet sources and mostly racket documentation to understand the desired syntax of the code and build my solution (https://docs.racket-lang.org/guide/Pairs__Lists__and_Racket_Syntax.html) The function design syntax and the methods provided in the question then I tried to implement by coding the solution. I also learnt through sources such as https://beautifulracket.com/explainer/recursion.html I also took an example of the code lists and drew it's tree diagram which I used part as an example while explaining the algorithm.

ok he's saying that I sent a solution to a problem from a different section that he hadn't assigned. While there is one similarity between them, they are different in very fundamental ways. I'm still not sure how that's an academic violation. Went through the pdf and saw the comparison of both solutions. And yes as both codes have had somehow similar solutions your solution was developed only after through learning from the above reference sources, and the codeing itself was inspired from different GitHub repositories (of which I presume are not an issue since they're open source and mostly when learning) that's why it's not entirely similar otherwise it wasn't copied and pasted.

Different repo's work as guides but it requires one to fully have knowledge and understanding of a problem and it's solution to apply any software design principle such as code reuse of component based development, which I did entirely acquired from the discussed sources. It was carefully coded and tested several times and every part of the code had been learnt and understood from the onset. Also since maybe the compared solution was to the same problem in 2016, if right then they most likely have to be similar. Again it appears to me that when programming program solutions the solution to a problem is mostly the same on basic principles regardless of anything and that reinforced my thinking while developing the program.
