Comparative rhetorical analysis between a jury of her peers and the ballad of a landlord. The essays can either talk about just similarities between the poem and short story or talk about the differences and similarities between the both. Similarities and differences can be between figures of speech, tone, setting and even theme.The Essay needs to be in 800 words. It should have a thesis stating the three main points which create three body paragraphs and then the conclusion. Altogether there should be five paragraphs well written in a rhetorical form along with citation at the end of the essay.

  • It is up to you which of the three preceding formats to choose. Remember, it is a comparatively long paper, at 750 words, so keep that in mind. Additionally, in a comparison essay, you have two choices of format. The first is block, the second is point by point. In block, you discuss all the similarities in both works at once, then all the differences following it. In point by point, you discuss, say, the similarities of similies in the two, then differences in the two, then similarities in metaphors in the two, then the differences, then the third and final thesis point, the similarities of imagery in the two, then the differences of imagery in the two. It is up to you how you wish to format the comparison.
