More specifically, this assignment will help students to synthesize and analyze different perspectives covered in the course and to apply them to a specific problem. Students may also incorporate concepts, ideas and examples from other courses, or that you have read/learned about elsewhere. Structure. Essays must have four sections: (a). Introduction with a statement; (b). Main Body (development of the argument); (c). Conclusion; and, (d). Reference List. Referencing. Information used in your paper will generally come from course readings and discussions in class. Any additional references, if needed, must come from serious sources only. Essays must include references from reliable print sources (e.g., scholarly articles, books, newspapers, magazines, etc.).
