The Emergency Plan
Topic: Safety and Emergency Management Plan
This will be the culminating and final activity for the course. The project for this course is to write a safety and emergency management plan for a facility. Each item should be clearly numbered (referencing the numbering below) and identified clearly in terms of its content.
The emergency plan should include at least five different emergency situations including fire and life-threatening illness. Clearly list each emergency situation in a bold-type heading, followed by the related procedures.
Compose safety management procedures to be used with each client/customer that visits the facility including such items as liability release forms and other paperwork. Upon joining the facility, what forms will clients need to fill out, and how will the forms be processed before clients can use the facility independently?
Include a plan for maintaining safety in each area of the facility. Explain in detail the major safety items that should be monitored regularly. (Examples: Floors should be checked for wet or dry spots every so many hours, days, etc. Exercise machine cables should be checked daily, weekly, etc.)
This assignment should be a minimum of 6 full pages of text and a maximum of 10 full pages. A full page is the equivalent of a double-spaced typed page, usually containing about 250 words.
