Respond to this students answer to the question...............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................Even though if the study of ethics does not guarantee ethical conduct it should still be done because it will help people learn a sort of code of conduct. It starts to define who people are individually and as a society, it also starts to become norms of behavior that everyone starts and should end up following in the end. Wthics are principles that guide us to make a positive impact through our decisions and actions. They play an important role not only in peoples personal lives but also in society and in buisnesses. Without it society as we know it could fall into chaos if people were to accept that each of them could pick and choose what the right thing to do is. Ethical discussions provide an opportunity to understand the reasons behind the differences and help people to expand their understanding of ethics even if sometimes it alters their own values and decision making process. Also without ethics there would be no sense of ownership and people would have no need to work for things. Overall the study of ethics helps a person look at their own life critically and helps them also evaluate their actions, choices, and decisions.
