InstructionYour goal is to ask questions that will reveal the interviewees beliefs about life in the suburbs versus life in the city. Some questions might include: What attracted them to the suburbs? What’s better or worse there? When they moved, they hoped to find what? How did it work out? Are people in the city different from people in the suburbs? How? Why? Think of your own questions, too. Be creative. Don’t lead or suggest responses. And please don’t criticize or correct your interviewee in any way.
