Hardcopy of the report (approximately 10-12 pages) due 4/5 A formal ten to twelve-page written report with all of the elements(executive summary, body, recommendations, etc.) presented in a way that you see fit.A Company/Organization for whom you are writing on behalf—this can be a large Fortune 500, a smaller business, even a made-up business. A Reason/General direction to write a formal proposal (remember, in business writing, very little—if anything at all—is arbitrary). Ponder some kind of reason—a pitch, a problem, a change, a proposal—where you will need to provide a persuasive report and pitch some semblance of a new direction/new campaign/solution/etc. In other words, your report needs a purpose and you are answering the “so what?” question. That is, your report will need to assert the next step. Where exactly are you suggesting we go? There will be a vital series of questions I will pose over the next couple of classes that are meant to help nudge you and your project in the right direction.
