The issue of higher education being a financial burden can be solved by 1) Raising taxes. 2) Providing more opportunities for people to attend collage. 3) Eliminating war in order to focus more resources an education. And my prof emailed me this: This needs some work. First of all, you don't give me a purpose statement--what is the purpose of the research that YOU will do for this paper? Also, your reasons are not reasons as to why the issue is important, but more `how to solve the problem.` I think maybe you want to focus on something like: The purpose of this paper is to help college students understand the financial impact of higher education. Your background section should be full of statistics---what do current costs include? What is the average amount of debt for graduates? Etc. This issue is important because: 1. Student loan debt has an impact on future financial and credit ability (your point #2 below would fit in well here) 2.
