  • By the way, here is one of the comments from my TA for the methodology part(#4) in the proposal. "The independent variable is incubation, and with intelligence as a quasi independent variable, the dependent variable is number of trials solved or something like that depending on your task I'm not clear how study hints fits here, what does that have to do with your question, by time do you mean incubation, and what tasks aren't they all doing the same task? So what I was thinking was that you could have incubation as a within subjects variable, half of the trials are incubated half not, then you would split people up into two groups based on a median split of intelligence, if you also want to include hints this would give you 8 conditions which I assume you don't want" btw is there a short iq test you can use?"
